Any day is a great day when you start with some Lovecraft.
“The Music of Erich Zahn” is one of my favorite Lovecraft stories. In it, a university student recalls his bizarre encounter with a blind violinist who plays strange and unnerving music in the middle of the night. The violinist refuses to perform these compositions for the student, but eventually he has no choice. It’s a chilling tale and this stop motion adaptation by Anna Gawrillo hits the right tone.
Happy Friday, everyone.
